El extracto de microalga Galdieria<\/em> es un ingrediente natural para la formulaci\u00f3n de productos cosm\u00e9ticos, principalmente. Seg\u00fan estudios realizados por la Pontifica Universidad Javeriana, los principios activos de esta alga tienen capacidades antioxidantes, antitumorales (actualmente en evaluaci\u00f3n), antimicrobianas y antiedad.           Haber logrado superar el reto de trabajar con una microalga nativa que habita en ambientes extremos en Colombia, consiguiendo aislarla y caracterizarla. Lo que permiti\u00f3 identificar un m\u00e9todo selectivo de producci\u00f3n para enriquecer los extractos con mol\u00e9culas bioactivas.<\/p>\n

          Haber logrado identificar el extracto del alga que tuviera los beneficios deseados para el sector cosm\u00e9tico, tras un proceso de m\u00e1s de 2 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

          Haber presentado 3 patentes, una radicada en Colombia y dos en proceso en Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n

          Haber logrado la colaboraci\u00f3n de Universidad-Empresa para desarrollar productos que respondan a las necesidades del sector productivo y de los consumidores.<\/p>\n

          El m\u00e9todo de cultivo de esta microalga minimiza las posibilidades de contaminaci\u00f3n por agentes externos, dando soluci\u00f3n a uno de los principales retos a nivel industrial en este campo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

          El extracto tiene actividad biol\u00f3gica validada como antioxidante, antimicrobiano y antiedad.<\/span><\/p>\n

          El proceso de cultivo de esta microalga no supera los 8 d\u00edas, lo que minimiza costos de producci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n
